Terry Martino loved teaching. She loved bringing the love of God to others. She often said that teaching religious education was one of the best things that ever happened to her.

Inspired by sister Elizabeth Crotty, Father Damien Graziano, and the Religious Education Department of the Joliet Diocese, she set out to develop and updated program for Confirmation, stressing Christian morality and the Ten Commandments. Her goal was to make the Ten Commandments as relevant as she could to today's teenager, dealing directly with the problems the encounter in their daily lives. This guide is the result of her effort.
